Payment Processing, Cancellations and Refunds from the Booking App


Bookings made within the booking app can be paid for in several ways, depending on how you have configured your Services and Prices. These include:


  • Credit or Debit Cards
  • Usage Credits
  • Free of Charge (e.g Annual Pass)


Read each method carefully as each has differing cancellation policies.


Credit or Debit Card Payments


Bookings paid using Credit or Debit cards will charge the user real money. For this, IOTee will add a booking fee, chargeable to the user. This fee is added at checkout and is clearly displayed to the user before they submit their payment.


Payments are captured on the day of the booking. This means if they have booked in advance, they have the opportunity to cancel or edit their booking until the day of their booking before being charged.


If the booking is made on the same day as the booking, the payment is immediately captured. Cancellations are non-refundable once the payment has been captured. The user is informed of this before booking, and when requesting to cancel their booking.


Usage Credits


Bookings paid using Usage Credits from their Virtual Key do not charge the user real money. Usage Credits will be deducted if they have a sufficient amount to pay for the booking.


Cancellations of bookings made with Usage Credits will return the credits to the users Virtual Key.


Free of Charge


If you have specified a Price of €0, and the user has the correct User Group to obtain this price, the user will not be charged and they can continue to book without providing any payment method.


Cancellations can be made freely.
