Services, Prices & User Groups

Services are compulsory if you wish to create bookings with IOTee or enable your guests and members book online. Each Service can have multiple Prices for your different User Groups.

Please follow the steps in this article to correctly set up your prices.

1. User Groups

A User Group is a category you can give to your members. You can create any User Group you like. A golf club might have the following User Groups:

Guest
Member
Senior
Annual pass

It is recommended to define your User Groups first, before creating your Services.

2. Services

A Service defines a rental that you offer, for example 18 Holes.

Each Service must have a Duration. The duration determines how long the cart will be booked for.

A Golf Club might have a Services such as:

18 Holes - 06:00hrs
9 Holes - 03:00hrs

Tip: Services should NOT include things like "Annual Pass" or "Member". These are considered as Prices.

3. Prices

You might have different Prices depending on the User Group. For example, a member might have a lower price than a guest, or a someone might have an annual pass. Prices allow you to control this.

Generally you should have 1 Price per User Group. For example:

18 Holes:

Guest - €32
Member - €20
Senior - €18
Annual Pass - €0

9 Holes:

Guest - €20
Member - €16
Senior - €14
Annual Pass - €0

These Prices go inside each Service. So if you have a 9 Hole and an 18 Hole service, ensure you have the prices inside both services.

Tip: Include a Guest price for each service and assign it to the Guest User Group. This will be considered as the default price.
