Book a Cart for your Guests

Book a Cart for your Guests


You can book carts on behalf of your guests and members directly in the IOTee Dashboard. Your guests will receive an email confirmation which includes a link to unlock the cart. They can use this link during the time of their booking.


For senior users, a cart can also be scheduled to unlock automatically. This eliminates the need for a smart phone to access the cart.


Select New Booking



Create your Booking


You must have at least one Service created before you can create any bookings. You can learn more about Services here.


  1. Date Selection - The day of the booking
  2. Service - The Service duration determines how long the cart will be booked for
  3. Price (optional) - Does not charge the user, it is used for reporting later
  4. Time Slot - Only time slots which are available will display, along with a count of available carts
  5. Cart Selection - A recommended cart will be selected automatically (shown with a yellow star), but you can manually select any available cart.
  6. Driver Name
  7. Email Address (optional) - If entered, a confirmation email with a link to access the cart will be sent to this email address.
  8. Automatic Unlock - If selected, the cart will automatically unlock at the start time of the booking. Note this does not account for the booking offset.
  9. Note to Customer (optional - A custom message will show in the confirmation email
  10. Booking Info - For review
  11. Save



Confirmation Email


After a booking is created, the customer will receive an email which includes:


  • Start date/time
  • End date/time
  • Site name
  • Cart number
  • Unlock code
  • Link to Unlock the Cart
  • Note to Customer



Pressing the 'Unlock Cart' button, during the time of the booking, will directly unlock the cart.
