Zones and Parking Zones

You can draw zones on the map for different functions. Currently IOTee allows you to define Parking Zones (read more below). We will extend this in the future.

Drawing Zones

Select "Zones" from the map toolbar
Select "+ Add Zone"

Draw your desired zone on the map. Click each time to add a point until you click on the original point to finish drawing
Select your Zone Type
Save (or cancel)
Delete if necessary

You can change or delete any zone after is has been saved by clicking on the desired zone. Drag the white points to adjust the position.

Parking Zones

A Parking Zone is an area where your carts are usually stored or parked. When carts are inside the Parking Zone, a the Auto Lock timer will start. You can read more about Auto Lock here.

A Parking zone also determines if a cart is "In Use" or not. Carts inside the Parking Zone show blue and carts outside the Parking Zone show as yellow.
